# StoreIndex

> StoreIndex is the most accurate database of ~3.0M active Shopify stores. Find and close e-commerce leads by filtering stores on their technology, products, traffic, location and contacts.

## How the data is sourced
- Source: Continuous web crawling (parsing) of live Shopify storefronts. ~3.0M active Shopify stores.
- New stores: New stores are discovered and added to the database every day.
- Refresh: Data for existing stores (apps, theme, products, traffic, contacts) is re-checked and refreshed on a weekly cycle.

## Available filters (21)
- **Status** — Whether the storefront is live or password-protected. Examples: Active, Password.
- **Domain type** — How the store is hosted: a custom top domain, a subdomain, or a platform (myshopify) domain. Examples: Top, Sub, Platform.
- **Detected at** — The date StoreIndex first discovered the store. Use it to find newly launched stores. Examples: Filter by first-detected date range.
- **Product change activity** — How actively the store adds, removes, or edits its catalog — a signal of an operating, growing store. Examples: High, Medium, Low, Very low, Unknown.
- **Country** — The store’s country of operation. Examples: United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Canada, Australia. (240+ countries and territories supported.)
- **Installed apps** — Filter stores by the Shopify apps they currently have installed (technographics). Examples: Klaviyo: Email Marketing & SMS, Judge.me Product Reviews, Recharge Subscriptions, Loox, Vitals, Gorgias. (8,000+ Shopify apps tracked.)
- **Installed apps count** — How many apps the store runs — a proxy for store maturity and budget. Examples: 0, 1, 2, 3..5, 6..10, 11...
- **Recently installed apps** — Stores that added a specific app recently — catch buying intent and tech adoption. Examples: Any of the 8,000+ tracked apps, filtered to recent installs. (8,000+ Shopify apps tracked.)

- **Theme** — The Shopify theme the store runs. Examples: Dawn, Debutify, Booster, Impulse, Prestige, Shrine. (3,000+ themes detected.)
- **Attributes** — High-level business model flags inferred from the store’s stack. Examples: Dropshipping app, Print on demand app, Point of sale, Shopify plus.
- **Main categories** — Top-level product vertical, based on the Google product taxonomy. Examples: Apparel & Accessories, Health & Beauty, Home & Garden, Electronics, Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Toys & Games. (25+ top-level verticals.)
- **Product categories** — Fine-grained product category (full Google product taxonomy, including sub-categories). Examples: Apparel & Accessories / Clothing / Dresses, Health & Beauty / Personal Care / Cosmetics, Electronics / Audio. (Thousands of leaf categories.)
- **Active products** — Number of products currently published in the store. Examples: 0, 1, 2..5, 6..15, 51..100, 501..1000, 5001..10000, 25001...
- **Active collections** — Number of product collections the store maintains. Examples: 0, 1, 2..5, 6..10, 11..25, 26..100, 101...
- **Main currency** — The store’s primary checkout currency. Examples: USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, JPY. (150+ currencies supported.)
- **Shipping to** — Countries the store ships to. Examples: US, GB, DE, FR, CA, AU. (240+ countries and territories.)
- **Language** — The primary language of the storefront. Examples: en, de, fr, es, it, pt, nl, ja. (80+ languages supported.)
- **Company size** — Estimated size of the business behind the store. Examples: Very small, Small, Medium, Big, Unknown.
- **Contacts & socials** — Filter for stores that expose a given contact method or social profile. Examples: Email, Validated email, Phone, Address, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat.
- **Phone country code** — Country dialing code of the store’s public phone number. Examples: 1, 44, 49, 33, 61, 7. (200+ dialing codes.)
